Creighton A. Simmons, O.D.
Dr. Creighton Simmons graduated with highest honors in 1990 from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. After graduation he completed a one year residency in ocular pathology at Omni Eye Services, also in Memphis.
Dr. Creighton joined Simmons Eye Care in 1991. He practices primary care optometry, which includes fitting contact lenses, prescribing glasses, children's exams and treatment of ocular disease including glaucoma and co-management of cataract and laser surgeries. He was named "Young Optometrist of the Year" for the state of Arkansas in 1995 and served as President of the Arkansas Optometric Association in 2000.
Dr. Creighton Simmons lives in Benton with his wife Celita, who is a local dentist, and their sons Collin and Cain. He and his family are members of First Baptist Church.

Russell T. Simmons, O.D.
Dr. Rusty Simmons joined the Simmons Eye Care practice in 1983. He also graduated from the Southern College of Optometry after obtaining his BS degree from Ouachita Baptist University. He has served on the Arkansas Optometric Association Board of Directors.
His training included primary care optometry, pathology, glaucoma management and emergency care. He likes working with difficult contact lens cases including bifocal and astigmatic contact lens fittings. His general practice of optometry includes treating and managing glaucoma, diabetes, cataracts, Lasik and other refractive surgeries. Dr. Rusty works closely with several cataract, retinal and refractive surgeons to ensure the best outcomes.
Dr. Rusty lives in Benton with his wife Karol, sons Bradley and Will, and daughter Brynne. In his free time he plays baseball, likes to fish and volunteers at the local Community Care Free Clinic. He and his family are members of First Baptist Church in Benton.

William D. Simmons, O.D.
Dr. Bill Simmons graduated from Southern College of Optometry in 1962 and began the practice of family optometry in July 1962 in Benton, Arkansas. By virtue of his longevity in practice he has a large geriatric practice.
His training included primary care optometry, pathology, glaucoma management, contact lenses and co-management after cataract surgery. Dr. Bill has served on the Arkansas Optometric Board of Directors for several years as well as numerous chairmanships of various committees. He has also been a member of the American Optometric Association for forty-four years. He received a Special Service Award for his years of service to the Arkansas Optometric Association in 1993.
Dr. Bill is privileged to work with his two sons, Dr. Rusty and Dr. Creighton Simmons; wife, Allyson, who is office manager; as well as his daughter-in-law, Karol, who also serves as office manager. His youngest daughter, Allyson Leigh, is a Special Ed. teacher in the Sheridan school district. His oldest daughter, Stephanie Conrad, was a graduate of the Southern College of Optometry Technician program and now lives with her family in Denver, Colorado. Dr. Bill and his family attend First Baptist Church of Benton.

Amanda L. Moore, O.D.
Dr. Amanda Moore completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and Biology at Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. She obtained her Doctor of Optometry degree from Northeastern State University College of Optometry, graduating with Beta Sigma Kappa honors. During her doctorate training, she received the Pheiffer Award for Excellence in Vision Science Research. She also served as a liaison on the Arkansas Optometric Association Board of Directors during her time at NSUCO.
Dr. Moore proudly joined the Simmons Eyecare practice in June 2006. She practices primary care optometry, including the correction of refractive errors, either with glasses or the latest technology contact lenses; management and treatment of eye diseases including glaucoma, diabetes, dry eye, and age-related macular degeneration; emergency care; as well as co-management of cataract and refractive surgery. Her practice includes both children and adults.
Dr. Moore is originally from Magnolia, Arkansas, and has just recently made Benton her home. Her husband, Tim Elcyzyn, is also an optometrist in central Arkansas.
